NQPA Awards
NQPA Register of Merit (ROM)
A register of merit is to establish a record of outstanding performance. There are ROMS for each individual event.
A register of merit is awarded when:
- Halter - A pony must have earned at least 10 points in NQPA-approved halter classes. A minimum of 5 (five) must be earned during or after the pony's two-year-old year.
- Performance - A pony must have earned at least 10 points in one performance event as outlined in Rule 11, Categories II thru IV.
- Showmanship - Exhibitor shall have earned at least 10 points in one class in category VI.
Honor Roll
This award is given to any pony earning 5 ROMS in any category
Medallion Award
This award will be given to any pony that earns 30 points in any one class
NQPA Champion - Current Champions
The title NQPA CHAMPION will be awarded by the Association to individual ponies which meet the following requirements:
- Thirty points are to be earned for this award
- Points have been won in three or more shows and under three or more different judges.
- A minimum of 15 points shall be earned in halter classes, with a minimum of 8 of these points earned during or after the pony's two-year-old year.
- A minimum of 15 points must be earned in Category II-V, with 5 (five) points being earned in each of at least 3 (three) categories.
NQPA Superior (Event) Award
The title NQPA SUPERIOR (EVENT) PONY will be awarded to any NQPA pony which has earned 50 or more points in one NQPA recognized event.
- In halter, a minimum 25 points must be earned during or after pony's two-year-old year.
- A pony may receive this title for each separate event in which it has earned 50 points
- The title NQPA Superior (Event ) Exhibitor will be awarded to any NQPA member which has earned 50 or more points in one NQPA recognized event in Category VI. Points follow the exhibitor and are earned exhibiting any registered NQPA pony
Supreme Champion - Current Supremes
This is given to a pony who has achieved Superiors in 5 different categories.
